Tracer Wire Copper Conductor
The Tracer Wire Copper Conductor is suitable for installation in temperature ranges of -40° C (-40° F) to +90° C (195° F).
Conductor cables are available in solid or stranded conductor, in a variety of wire gauges, and is usually shipped on 300 metre reels. Many cable insulation colours (ie. Black, White, Red, Orange, etc.) are available.
Three (3) typical insulation types are available from ICCC:
Type RW 90:
- Designed for circuits not exceeding 600 volts;
- Manufactured in accordance with CSA C22.2, No. 75;
- Maximum conductor temperature of 90° C (195° F) in wet or dry environments;
- XLP insulation.
Type RWU:
- Designed for circuits not exceeding 1000 volts;
- Manufactured in accordance with CSA C22.2, No. 38;
- Maximum conductor temperature of 90° C (195° F) in wet or dry environments;
- XLP insulation.
Type TWU:
- Designed for circuits not exceeding 600 volts;
- Manufactured in accordance with CSA C22.2, No. 75;
- Maximum conductor temperature of 60° C (140° F) in wet or dry environments;
- Thermoplastic insulation;
- Approved for direct burial installation.
